Delete Xbox Live?

I am getting ready to softmod my xbox but I have been using xbox live on the console. Do I need to delete the live stuff prior to doing the mod or can I run the mod with all the live info still on the machine?

You only need to delete downloaded content relating to the game you will be using for the softmod.  Xbox live patches the game in the content.
