I have an Aladdin Live chip and an xbox 1.6. I installed the chip about a week ago. It works flawlessly. Make sure you have ALL the wires connected. Get some diagrams at www.console24.com

I overcame my problem by soldering on pin headers onto the lpc, They seem to make a better connection.

All my chips work fine now. So even though I got crazy results by swapping the flash chips around, It seems the culprit was bad soldering/connections  which really bugs me because I've got pretty good soldering skills. I think the board doesn't like getting soldered to on both sides.

I got a new batch from my supplier and they are working better as well. As for where to get old xboxes. I found a sh*t load at Toys R Us in St. Catharines Ontario. I think i am gonna grab 4 and make them prive match wall mart at $189cdn

I´m experesing the same trubble with aladdin Live some times I have to press the chip agains the motherboard/Pinheadder to get it not to frag, and some times the screen is just black and no sound.


Did a qick test I also have to press the chip down when booting another appz from evolutionX.

but sins I havent gotten the akirachip I have ordered I cant giv an 100% accurate ansver.

but another chip from the same batch forks flawlesly on an V1.0.
