I learnt how to use it from the documentation
http://home.alltel.net/nghtshd/XBtoolDoc.html a program like xbtool doesnt really need a tutorial.
Things you need to search in order to answer your question:
- Bios Boot order
Your xbox bios 'points' to a file on your hd, an xbe file. You need to make sure what you edit in your bios corresponds to your HD.
If you change the boot order to f:\evoxdash.xbe for example you would need to make sure there was a file on the root of the F drive called evoxdash.xbe. The xbe file can be any xbe, typically you might want to run dashboard software such as evox/avalaunch etc.
