Is There Any Easy Way To Bypass This?
« on: December 07, 2004, 09:37:00 PM »

Ok, i got an answer for this but its not helping me any so i'm going to try a different approach.  Basically my gf's xbox is softmodded and when i power the unit on with the eject button, it goes to ltool.  Now what i need is some way to get it to load into evo-x through the eject button...   I softmodded the xbox with ltool 1.7.5 ntsc using the splinter cell exploit.  I loaded the evox M8, and used the PBL Metoo...  And it was a ude1 install...  Any help would be sweet, any direction to a specific tutorial would be better..  I checked and i couldn't find much on this issue.  I even tried idots tut..  Thanks.

What you did is installed dual boot.

I haven't used 1.7.5 but I just got done using 1.8. A way to get rid of the dual boot is reinstall the UXE exploit. It will give you option when it asks you to overwrite files choose no at the end of all the options it will ask you if you want to remove dual boot choose yes.

hope that helps.

Personally i would keep the dual boot. I have fucked up my first dash and have been able to get back in with the itools (mxm) menu. Just some advice-

slayers will not boot in an unmodded or a softmodded-gone-wrong xbox

you will need to use the exploitable game with gamesave again in case something went wrong...

I see, so instead of using slayers, i'd throw in splinter cell again, and just start from scratch basically?  Or get it to load to ltools anyways..

Im not sure if this would work.. But maybe just rename your dvd2xbox the same as the xbe that boots on the eject. Throw all the files in that same path as the xbe too. Like i said i am not sure if this would work... Just a idea.

sure that would work. Just put the files in the directory mentioned. be sure to sign the xbe with the habibi key though.
