QUOTE
and make sure that all of XBMC is in that folder (probably C:)

You actually only need the xbe and the mediacenter.xml in the root C.  You then just edit the xml to point to the directory where the rest of the xbmc files are.

As mentioned above just name xbmc evoxdash.xbe and it will boot.  You can then name evox anything you want and edit the xbmc xml to point to that file.

What is the complete boot order?  is it just default from the cd and then evoxdash from the root of c drive?  I opened it with a hex editor to try to find out, but I only saw default.xbe on the cd drive.  is avalaunch.xbe there at all?

I want to have one bank boot to evox and another boot to avalaunch.  I don't really want to change evox to something else and avalaunch to evoxdash.xbe, unless that is the only solution.

I know xbtool doesn't work and all that.  I don't care about animation or colors - I just want to change the boot order.

thanks

edited for shitty spelling

so it's impossible to dual boot with x2_4983 on both banks?  that seems a bit silly.

No you can 'dual' boot fine you cannot edit the bootorder. So flashing 4983 to both banks when you cant edit the boot order would be a bit pointless, why not get 4981, edit with xbtool and flash?
