ok this is an ongoing problom i have tried to figure out but once again thought i would come back and ask the pros.so here is my issue.I have flashed Bank3 of my x2.3bPro with x2 .67 BIOS (last 2 numbers in the version are 81 i beleave dont remember the first 2 numbers)and with it being a .67 BIOS it should have (from what i ws told) automaticly mad a G directory but it didnt everything is as it was b4.so how do i fix this?
1)do I reflash it and see what happens?
2)Do I just add the G directory myself and maybe edit the .ini to give it a specified amount of space.
3)would it matter if the flash was 256 or 512?(i would assume not but thought i would ask)I would aslo prefer not unless absolutly needed do to the fact im thinking of doing a linux install.

in case the info is needed i am running EVOX.My HD is a WD 250gig.Im using the X2.3BPRO chip.and as of now this is what my BIOS Banks look like as far as BIOS's go
Bank 1 + 2= X2
Bank 3 = X2 (.67 BIOS)
Bank 4 = Cromwell

Please help.what do i need to do how do i fix this?I other wise have about 90 som gig floating around that im not using.

well for one you need to add under
MSDashBoard = "c:\xboxdash.xbe"

and put

then you also need to format the g partition

also for a 250gig drive there is no real reason to use .67, you can use.06 and format a big F just fine

well i wasnt sure at first if i wanted to do a .06 BIOS cuz i already have 4 games and 2 movies one of wich i am FTPing over as we speak...now when u say a BIG F does that mean all of my "lost" space that i am looking to get and use will be apart of the F drive instead of making a G???and if that is the case then i dont realy need to put that line in my ini then right?also would i need to format the F drive..im assuming so then how would i do that??

yeah you would need to reformat the f partition to get the rest of the currently unused space otu of the drive, but if you only have 5 or 6 items on there now it shouldn't be a big deal

how would i go about re-formating the F partition then.Also since i may end up re-formating my F part.then would i still need to put that line in of UseDriveG = Yes ?im assumin gnot but thaought i would make sure.

reflash the bios to .06
then change the one action section to

ok just so i know im not going to mess up acording to what u r saying this is what i need to do and the order i need to do it.
1)BACK IT UP
2)Reflash but with the .06 BIOS not the .67 BIOS
3)After flash is complete then change the "action10" part of the INI to this:
