A few weeks back, I used Flashx and screwed up my Bios... at the same time, my silver FCC ribbon cable on my external programmer went bad... so I finally got a replacement FCC cable and reinstalled... I can successfully flash my Bios now...
So I flashed all 4 banks of my Bios with the newer 4983.06, 256K in each bank. The flash finished and verified.
Yet when I reboot my XBOX with the chip on, I just get a red flashing light (no green). I think I have a V1.1 XBOX, so I think I should be flashing all 4 banks with 256K files as I am...
I also tried to put back on a 1MB file into all 4 banks (the original 4977 bios that I had before I messed up my Xbox). When I do that, It flashs green, then reboots, then flashes red/green....
In both circumstances, I cannot boot the Xbox with muy Evox install disk (which I have used successfully before).
I am getting confused, can anyone guide me or offer some hints?
Thanks!
