FlubberTools 2.0

Hi, it's me again.

I downloaded Flubber Tools v2.0 and it doesn't seem to work for me.

Everytime I try it it gives me this message "cannot find or extraxt xboxkrnl.img"

Anyone know what the problem might be?

Even if rename the bios to bios.bin or put the xboxkrnl.img I still get the same error message.

Any help is appreciated.

Scorpion-X are you sure you had the bios.bin in the flubbertool folder? Was your bios in 256k?

you need to unpack the bios with xbtool. this will extract the 3 compunents on the bios: xboxkrnl.img (kernel), 2bl.img (2bl) remainder.img (remainder)
copy the anim editor to the new dir and edit the anim the way you want. when done, repack the bios with xbtool and save it where you want.

the app cannot edit the kernel while the bios is packed

actually yoshihiro's version unpacks and repacks the bios for you

funny, i have html code turned off, it should have clearly been [brag] in bb format

anyway here is what i put together tonight for my new black and white bios with the x3
http://psilocybe.emodchips.com/x3.avi
it's not quite the same feel as you get with the x2 bios and modding it all fully with hex and other tools from the scene, but man it looks awsome, plus i get random cam angles at each boot if i want

blink.gif it went all bunta on me... It repacked and shit like it is meant to but when I loaded my bios onto my xbox and when I turned on my xbox with my new bios it was a white screen with the sound in the background and then when it was supposed to show the xbox logo it turned the screen to black with a pixelated Xecuter2 logo on the bottom and then it went into evox  blink.gif  weird.... Any ideas on why that would happen?

well by feel i meant feeling from doing it all with the hex values and programs made by individuals in the scene
for right now the green is there due to the way the x3 configs the bios, but keep in mind this is an early build of the x3 config system, we are doing lots of heavy beta testing for it right now
some of the cam angles i've seen that have been done with hex edits are not available as you have probably already noticed by my video, esp zooming cam angles
also there is MUCH more to the x3 than simply chaning the bios on the fly, maybe i should post a video in the xecuter section tonight to show off more of what the dash has to offer rather than just the simple bios tweaks

Wait.... X3 is a chip right? or is it a bios?  I have a Xenium chip with X2 bios, will I be able to use x3 bios?

Anyway... I use 4983.06 and when I edited 4981 to be the different colors, some of my back ups didn't work, so I said screw it and when back to my 4983.06 ... this animation coloring tool works with 4983.06 but I wont be able to change the logo right?

Thanks.

there is an x3 chip and an x3 bios
the x3 bios is 1meg, so a chip that can hold 1meg will boot the x3 bios, but it's pointless to do so, as you will not be able to use ANY of the features of it other than what you can already do with the x2 bios, in other words you need the x3 chip to run the x3 bios to potential

This tool is great... I made a blue background (the three scenes), with a yellow flubber and red glow first and last.  It looks pretty sweet then it fades to the green "X" logo, only wish I could change that on X2.4983.06.
