Your features describe a MODCHIP (well sortoff, bank 1/bank2), while you claim to be making a BIOS.

Get your story straight.

The bios is a 1meg bios so it resides on bank one and bank 2.
I was listing what happens with the bios when you switch the chip from bank one to bank 2.

A chip with no bios is a paperweight, its the BIOS that does the work.

Hi everyone,

Developed?  Built from source?  From compile ms kernel?  Hopefully from one that supports 1.6 if thats the case...

even if its not great, some people like to check things out and gauge for themselves.

Who said anything about buying another chip?  I was pointing out the x3 bios features.  Most of which could be done without depending on any hardware; those are features that would all be nice to have in a bios.

Your bios isnt "bank1\bank2", its bios1_512k + bios2_512k, or much more likely, bios1_256k + bios1_256k + bios2_256k + bios2_256k.

But the rest of my questions... ?

I wasnt making a joke about your chip, its a fine chip, but it does work on all chips with your "bank1/bank2" configuration.

So its compiled from source?  And you managed to work in lba48 from source?  If so, thats quite an impressive feat.
