Hello, I was wondering if they can write dvd/cd burning software within the bios so u can burn dvd/cd's with the xbox?

you don't get it, a dvd rom drive can't burn a disk no matter what firmware it has

its been shown that you can burn a cd with the xbox, as long as you have linux and a usb cd writer

it wouldn't need to be usb, you could just install it with a molex splitter and install linux and get the drivers (if they aren't included already) to run the burner for cd burner or dvd burner
