Modifiying 4983
« on: May 14, 2004, 11:16:00 AM »

I currently run 4981 on my xbox which you can't edit with xbtool, but mine is because I set it up to boot from f instead of c but can't remember what tool I used to set it up that way. I am looking to do the same for 4983 as well as chage the colors and so forth, since xbtool doesn't support 4983 what can I use?

You can edit 4981 with the newest version of xbtool so i don't really know what your talking about here unless you mean 4983.

The boot order for 4983 is:
Dashboard Boot sequence Hack
- 1. avalaunch.xbe
- 2. evoxdash.xbe
- 3. mxmdash.xbe
- 4. nexgen.xbe
- 5. xboxdash.xbe
It says that in .nfo file that came with the bios.

You can't change the ftp address in the bios. You can change it in the dashboard if your using a static ip address. Otherwise it is whatever the dchp server assigns it as.
