I've tried every gamesave hack but every time I load them I go to the Error 21 screen. I've tried signing the dufault file and tried the old Kernal. What am I doing wrong? I have Kernal 4034 and daash 5960 and am quite sure I have ver 1.0 (fan on gpu and conexant chip). Also it was made in mexico if that matters. Do I have to solder the motherboard before any of these work? I was under the impression that I did not need to do that. Please help. Thank you!

Which gamesave hack are you using? lTools, or EvoX? And no soldering is necessary.

wow i really have the same prob as above

and I'm using eVox and Itools v1.75 from "usual places"

i have tried all gamesave hacks and am thinking that they arre not going to work help on this topic is really needed thank you

make sure you try to run the save of the hd and not straight of the mem card. Also some AR mem cards can corrupt saves making you recieve an error 21.

I had one like that, I downgraded to the dash to 4920 and it worked...

Wel i dunno why the guy sent me 4920 dash, but that's what he sent, and then it worked...

Before that i had 5960 on the box and it would go to the itools menu and then just skip right over it...you couldn't select run mini linux...

Put the 4920 on there, and it worked...

So what does that mean, did something else get changed with the dash swap?

Maybe the update.xbe was put on there.

Also too many things could mean the error 21, what do you do right before you get the error.

Well.. I just just drag and dropped Itools into AR then onto a mem card and copied that to my XB Hard drive. I figured that the Error 21 is a wide ranging generic error, which puts me in a bind. I think I might try downgrading my dash.. I've tried signing the update file and I've tried using a different lunixboot.cfg file as indicated for old kernals. thank you for all your suggestions.

When I was first using splinter cell itools exploit, after the matrix screen would boot up and the itools screen came up, all it said was splinter cell. Now when I pressed A, I got an error 21. So the next time I pressed B, and voila, I was able to install the ude. Make sure you press B instead of A after the matrix/mxm screen loads up.

i also get error 21 as soon as i try to load any of the gamesaves from within the game even before i see a matrix screen it gets the error, in mechassault the screen freezes, but i think i might have the MA game of the year so i dunno. I'm using AR connector with a hip gear memcard from walmart. The kernel is 5808 dash 5960 not sure what to do , the xbox is unmodded is there a way to downgrade dashes from unmodded state? please help..

I got the 1.6 with ltools UXE going, turned out to be the mem card

!!!! DO NOT USE HIPGEAR MEMORY CARDS THEY ARE CRAP !!!!!!

Sorry Billy , gonna have to try a bit harder to stop us !!! haha
