Is the parallel cable needed for the bios programmer just a 25-25 serial cable?? Thanks in advance!!!!

u can either do it that way or just burn a disc with a 100mb+ and rename the bios that you want to use (4983.06) to BIOS.BIN

I flashed the wrong bios so now I cannot boot anything in the drive! I NEED to use the programmer, I just need to know what kind of parallel cable I need to interface with the programmer is all.....Thanks!

There is a tut in this forum I beleive about flashing with external programmer. You might want to read that before you go out and buy anything. I think there are some length restrictions. i.e. if you get one that is a few feet long it might not work. I think they recommend a parallel cable less than or equal to 2 feet long.

One more thing.. can you get to evox and can you establish ftp session? If you can you can flash a bios from evox... that is also in teh flashing for newbs tut.
