Copying Bios To Xbox Hdd

when copying a bios file to an xbox hdd does it matter what the name of the bois is or can u change it to what u want?

you can change it.  it doesnt matter the name of the BIOS.

when i boot the cromwell bios the dvd tray doesnt eject.  why not?

cromwell is originally a bios that boots linux.. the flash bios based on cromwell is just a modification of it. so if you flashed just cromwell, you might have flashed the original cromwell to boot linux and can't flash with that.

What is it that you are trying to do?  Are you flashing for the first time?

I thought that if you were copying a bios to disk to flash from cromwell you needed to name it bios.bin .

If you have a version 1.5 you may not see any info on the screen and my disk tray didnt eject.  just press teh eject button.  If it doesnt eject when you press the button, you may have a problem.
