you dont need to "Open" the bios to resize it, use the "Size" button.

Vary cool when I first tried it I did not know I had to open the command prompt I thought it would open its own and ask for the info. Great program I now have a 81.06 and 83.06 with ~LF-IV~

I just spent 3 hours on a logo 100X17 8bit 0 Header in PS7. I now get the error the logo is too big, error 639 or something. My first attempt in PS7 worked because I used the text tool, but at 72pt font the text is still way too small to read. So I used the tools in PS7 to pretty much fill the etire black background strip with my own text and now that's too much.

alg5, how did you get your text output that tall?

Yes I did do grayscale 8 bit. The logo I did is the rough crap in my avatar. This same background worked fine when using the text tool in PS7 but when I used the brushes to create that thing, it's too big. How is that? The logox2 utility has constraints besides resolution and color depth? Too many pixels? What's too big?

if your logo is 1700 bytes, you've not make a mistake.
but the logo is compressed in RLE format.

the problem of size is about the compressed logo. xecuter2 compressed logo is 622 bytes length, so you can't have a bigger logo. the logo is compressed with a RLE algorythm ( search on google ). you need to "simplify" your bios. having less pixel of one color alone ( change it to the same color as adjacent pixel, make your logo more sharp without gradation )

for example, try to make your logo with only white & black pixels, it will helps a lot !

what size font do you guys use, and also what Font name ? and how do you guys make the letters look all stretchy when you open up the image ?  i want to make my forum name of  " BurnOmatic"  <--- just like that

when using the gui will i know if it is patched correctly or not?? a CMD window pops up for a split second but dunno if it worked or not,, i tried it out and it didnt,,

i remade the logo using only white and black for whatever the hell RLE format is,,,  but im not sure if it was that or that it didnt even patch,,, helpy please??
