yeah i couldnt get the colors to change, like i said the only thing i could get to work out for me was to remove teh tm logo
i thought that the only things that were encrypted int he bios were the boot sequence and the x3 code they were testing

I was under the impression that the animation wouldn't be changed either but since it does have X3 code in it there is a chance something releated to that intergrated bios editor is why the colors are not there. Since the background is not a settable option (from the screenshots and video they have shown) my guess is thats why it wasn't changed.

That might be cool to find the X3 code that would allow us to change the logo and activate it for fun. If it might even be in there.

i dont think that code is in there.  if it was you would need to write an xbe to control it as that is definately not there

Well, I messed my chip up, changed the value 48 to 4c and it was fine (turned a purple colour) then changed to 3c and it doesent boot at all now. Dont understand these hex values, I was expecting the colour to run from hex 00 up to hex FF, must be wrong. If anyone can explain (in terms I can understand) please do !

The scenes can only be blue, green, or red. I asked that question in this thread some where. All three scene geo's end with either an 8 = Red; C = Green; or 0 = Blue.
