Help With X2 Bios Vs. M7
« on: April 26, 2004, 08:58:00 AM »

OK, I use multiple bios' in different slots to select different dashes. So I have one bios for evox and one for unleashx. I do this by changing the startup XBE in XBTOOLS with the M7 bios.

It seems that you cant select the statup XBE with the latest Xecuter Bios (or the fan speed) its all ghosted out.

The main reason I want to know is because UnleashX does not have an integrated IGR (although it has the option to turn on/off X2's bios IGR)... And I would really like to have IGR in unleashX, but I cant seem to pick a startup location from the bios which has IGR.

any ideas would be very helpful.

thanks.

x2 4983 bios is not and will not be supported by xbtool, this is according to its creator.

quote from the webpage
QUOTE
Supported BIOS Types
Xecuter2 4981 - Xecuter2 4979 - Xecuter2 4978.03 - Xecuter2 4977 - Xecuter2 4976.02
Evox M7 - EvoX D.6 (plus Eject Fix versions)
(And boot from media versions of the above firmware using a debug config.)
