I get an error when it goes into linux and tries to patch up whatever

complete error
update.xbe found or generated to dir : /mnt/E/UDATA/21585554/000000000000000/files/ does not seem to be the correct version.
md5sum should be : blahblahblah
md5sum found : 78ad0f3f0cb3010728e00457a778121
Either install dashboard 4920, 5659 or 5960 or get update.xbe from this dashboard and place it in /mnt/E/UDATA/21585554/000000000000000/files/

anyone know how to fix it?
i know currently i have dashboard 5960, kernel 4034, version 1.0
i tried to do what it says but to no avail

oh yeah, im using ldot tools if that helps

I had alot of problems with the UDE1 and UDE2 installer on my xbox
i think the problem was due to the dashboard update from ncaa2005.

if this problem parallels your at all, i found a solution

i had to use the Slayer 2.6 cd, and i replaced my C: drive with the files on the slayer disk... i had to delete everything off of my c: and replace it all

after that it worked like a charm
