flashbios "\linuxbio.bin"

Place this file, the evox.xbe (renamed to default.xbe), and linuxbio.bin in the main directory of your burnt media and then it should boot from your xbox drive.

[Action_90]

flashbios "\linuxbio.bin"

with

CODE

Section "Root"
{
Item "Flash Bios with LinuxBio",flashbios "\linuxbio.bin"
}

See if that works, you might have to put flashbios "\linuxbio.bin" in quotes so it becomes like "flashbios "\linuxbio.bin""; i'm not sure on that though. I've never tried using a line like that before, so just see what happens =)

Phoenix Bios Loader allows you to load a bios file without having to flash your box. And yes, if the erasing did not work, it means the two spots you need to solder in order to bridge the TSOP have not been soldered. I suggest you use PBL as an alternative.

i just tried eurasia cd and it loaded everything said it found the bios
then gave me a error that says manf-0xDa dev=0x8c
so i have no idea whats up with that since i added that all the latest
bios files to the cfg...

and it still gives me a error
hmm could it be because its not using the new 07 raincoat
cause i noticed it using the 05 version

thnks
