Why don't you just set the evoxdashes ini file if your using that ?  to not auto boot games, then xbe's wont boot by themself !! If thats what you want...

In other words: *before* reaching the dashboard :-).
If you leave a DVD game into the drive and turn on XBOX, the game starts, am I wrong?

If you have a mdchip that can switch banks easily you can set one bios to not boot default.xbe and one to boot it. That way you can keep default.xbe on all your discs and switch bios when you need it.
