Do you get any error message?
Do you have the msdash xbe in root of C with the correct name?

I've got the same problem, I have the same bios and the x2.3Lite+ chip, when the chip is off I get the 'your xbox needs servicing' I have lock the Hard drive via configmagic and then tried locking is via the Evoxdash, but no go, If I try to boot the msdash via Evox, it just reloads the Evoxdash but messes up all the on screen info and the menu highlight no longer lines up correctly.
