Reflashing X2.3b Pro For Fan Speed Change
« on: February 24, 2004, 06:32:00 PM »

I have a x2.3b pro flashed with 1mb 4981.06 made with x2bmv2. I installed 160gb hard drive. I don't won't to lose my data on f: drive if i make a new bios using xbtool for changing fan speed. The lba-48 support and ignore hard drive partition table are checked and can't be changed. If i just choose partition 6 takes rest of drive will I be o.k. with my f: drive? Also what does the md5 do for me? If putting on a new bios will screw up the data on my f: drive can I just put avalaunch in my apps menu and change the fan speed through avalaunch permanently?
