4980/81-xbconnect

i have both these bios on my x2.2 will they stop me connecting to xbconnect like they do live or is it something else stopping me conecting,not sure how it stops from logging into xblive but on connect  it says cannot connect try connecting another way???

System Link libraries are entirely separate from Xbox Live libraries.  So, it prevents a connection to Live, but not XBConnect or XLink.
