Which Exploits Can Get Past Xboxlive?

I know exploits have changed, new methods have been proven... As of October, which exploits can get past xbox live without getting yourself banned? I want to play halo2 in november with live, but I also want to mod my xbox for now using the gamesave trick. I've searched the forums and found different answers. Can this be clarified? Thanks alot.

Everyone here will tell you it's impossible. As far as I know it is but I am working on a way to make it work.

UDE/UDE2 should work. If you use the ltools installer, you can boot to linux by pressing the eject button. In linux you can uninstall/reinstall UDE. I have heard that with UDE, as long as you update your dash and all of your games prior to installing, you can go onto xbox live if you boot with the original game in the dvd drive. If you uninstall UDE you should be ok as well however, i do not play on live so I can not guarantee it.

Can't guarantee this will work after Halo2 is released, but with an exploitable gameyou will always be able to access evox..  As of now the best method is to use LTools to uninstall/reinstall UDE so that you are using Live from a pure retail state.  You will need the newest dash installed with a Live acct first.  Also its safest to use x2 498n.nn bios since it protects you from being banned accidentally when your exploit is triggered..
No need to worry about DD/EEE at all if you have an exploitable game..

I came up with this theory and have yet to test it but it seems like it would work

For those of us who hav replaced our drives, cant we just retrun the factory drive to its original condition and put that in when we want to play live

Like

one drive with M$ dash to play live with

and the other has evox, mxm, etc...

so if I install UDE2 with lTools, can I uninstall it and play halo2 next month (I wont need to use Xbox Live until then, I dont even have an account)?

Do I need a live account to install UDE2 with Ltools?

Can UDE2 with Ltools be installed using the gamesave method? Thanks.

It should work by uninstalling UDE however I have not tried as I do not play live.

You do not need a live account to install UDE with ltools.

Yes, ltools is installed via a game save. Read this.

i got a good idea on how to make this stuff work with live. 1st take your xbox harddrive and put all the original stuff back on it then take another HD and put all your Evox stuff on it and cut a hole in teh back of your xbox to switch the cable from your xbox harddrive to your Evox harddrive. good idea cept i dont kno a whole bunch about how to get it all set up.

Best way is to just get another xbox!

Thats what I did!

$100 or less at a pawn shop. Or trade in your old consoles and games at EB and get it for free(depending on how much you trade in).

Hey I am stocking  up on all the old xboxes I can get, because all the new ones are all 1.6 models.

 Some one has a tutorial on how to hotswap harddrives. I cant remember who though. It would probably work as well. That way you can play live and play emulators without being caught.

Does any one here have an xbox live account and use the audio exploit? I was wondering if, you dont boot up the audio exploit, ie let it go to the MS dash and then access xbox live, would it let you on? This is because it doesnt scan the E drive when you log on. So I have heard. This is because I want to use the xbox live, free trial to play xbox live, and  currently have UDE 1 installed and was thinking about the audio exploit. So does it work?

Wouldn't ban you but it would upgrade your dash and pooch your audio exploit if you signed into live..

 dang i had that idea when the warnings came,  that m$ will look for bigger hard drives .
but i already built a 4 hdds switch before they announced that. just wanted to play it save. Don´t have live but one day i will and then i can do it legal.
and with my removeble modchip its easy to setup orignal state.

and you dont need to hotswap your drive just add a switch on the pin 39 (can be wrong that it is for hdd led)  check the tutorial page on main site. you will find all the info on how to setup more hdds if you  want it only for live you can do it with a normal switch button or else you got to get a special switch info can be found on the main page under tutorials -> hardware mods .
