Mechinstaller 1.0 Doesnt Load!

ok, well, im trying to install linux on my XBOX and well, i have the right devices from what i know. i have the phantasy star online usb memory slot and i have a sandisk cruzer mini 128mb 2.0 usb drive. anywho, i dont really know what to put on the cruzer mini other than the image file for the mechinstaller and the mechinstaller folder. (ive also tried transferring whats in the folder) anywho, when i put teh usb stick into the memory slot holder, and slect memory on my xbox, the screen says, "MEMORY UNIT 1A, the memory unit you inserted isn't working correctly. It has been erased." I hope someone knows what im talking about. thanks.

Yeah the drive must not be working.

Try reformatting it in the Xbox and doing the image-transfer again.
