Disabling Tv Interlace Filter On Bios?
« on: February 09, 2004, 03:57:00 PM »

Hi, I bought an Xbox several weeks ago...and everythings is amazing except for one thing... every xbox always has the interlace filter flag turned on, so the image is ultrablurry in comparasion with a Ps2 (I use RGB cables  on both). Yes, I know some people prefers this mode as images are shown more stable...but I personally prefer more resolution and flickering (If I could stand Amiga interlaced modes , I think I can stand Xbox real interlaced modes).

Xbox  linux users on TV´s had noticed this problem, as the text was almost unreadable. They have managed to disable the interlace filter to get a crisper image, but I´ve not found any info about how to disable this filter on games and apps. Maybe is setup on the BIOS, or every game setup by its own?

Thanx in advance and excuse my english.

it's activated in software, not the bios.
