I have just bought a smoked xbox from ebay. It didnt have a hdd but had a x2 chip lite in it. What I am trying to do is flash the chip so i can slap a 120gb hdd in it but when i use the external flasher it says "unable to open img" on the x2cable.exe.
Firstly is what i am trying to do possible - can i just slap a drive in with a new bios and it will work?
Secondly is there a poblem with the chip? Is there a problem with the programmer?
When my xbox is finished its gonna be the M.A.S.H.S so if y'all can give us a hand with this i would be soooooooo gr8ful
