Slayers has the ABILITY to flash your bios, you don't have to.  Also 4977 should work perfectly with a v1.5...

Well I'm not sure if I have a 1.4 or 1.5. I'll probably just make my own X2 4981 bios disk and use that to flash. Any file size/bank suggestions. Most tutorials are for a 1024 file. Some are suggesting just 512k though. What do you guys think??

do you have a focus or context chip? i think that is the difference between 1.4 or 1.5, most bios wont support the focas chip.

now are you going to hot swap or something?

if it has the cromwell flash bios on it, just put a bios on disk, named bios.bin all lower case.

the size will depend on what bank(s) you are flashing

I think both v1.4 and 1.5 use the focus chip. Doesn't really matter as I'm going to burn my own bios disk w/ 481 as you suggested. The xecutor site says to use all uppercase for the bios.bin Does it really matter?? I still need bank suggestions. Xecutors site shows a 1024.
