You may want to grab b2. It fixes the reset on eject when the dash is running.

No it doesn't, at least not for me.  Just tried it out.  Bummer.

I guess you're just special, then.

One thing I have noticed is that exiting an app and going back to the dashboard does result in reset on eject in the dash. I have an idea why that is and I'll see about fixing it.

is there a way so when it does Eject reset so that it still turns the matrix off in mode 3, but doesnt do a full animation reboot but rather a warm reboot?

reason being is that Ive noticed some times especially when loading some weird apps from the dvd drive ,my xbox does this weird sort of warm reboot only showing the green x logo for a sec and then going to dashboard (no anim).

One time I was able to do this in combination with a Eject/matrix chip shut off that allowed a red/orange flashing xbox (which froze at any flubber animation) to boot up with the matrix colored x bios. Somehow it did a warm reset turning off matrix , doing a green X with MS reboot but no animation, and then loaded 007 that was in the dvd drive.

I was then able to flash the tsop with a no animation bios and the box was usable without a chip.

reading your recent b1 and b2 improvements led me 2 thinking this might be feasible.

Possibly. I'm basically trying different techniques. I have a few ideas I plan to try.
