Need Help With Xbtool

For some reason, when i download it, it downloads it as an Adobe acrobat reader file and then when i try to open it, it wont let me.  What should i do?

Installed the Beta and the "installer"  And everytime i tried to open it, it said that it was a corrupted file.

So now I have to google for you, too?

whoops, didnt even think about that.  I will google it, but can somebody tell me WHAT i need to download to update what ever opens .rar files?

I dont get you dude.  You goto rarlabs.com, download winrar 3.2.  Install.  Double click the xbtool .rar.  Click the extract button.  It asks you where to extract, you pick a folder.   Then navigate to that folder and double click the .exe.

I don't see where anything adobe comes into any of this.

uhm, sounds like you file association is messed up
if you are on windows XP, right click on the file (any other windows, do shift + right click) and go to open with. Select WinRar

There we go.  Thanks for being patient with me, i really dont know that much about computers but im DYING to mod my xbox so im trying to "cram" everything as fast as i can to get going.
