hey my name is james i had my xbox modded 6 motnhs ago and then one day wen i tried to play one game it got stuk on the loading screen i throt it was the cd so i tried another one and that cd froze in the intro movie i turned it off and tried to reboot but it woodnt start up it tried to boot twice then dies and flashes green and red WTF HAVE I DONE or is it the guy who modded my xbox... i only had 22 meg free and had heaps of movies on my box

PLZ HELP SUM!

by the way there is no green writing or nothing it isnt the see ms error screen there is just a plain blak screen i think ive really done it

I'm no expert, it sounds like whatever game you played tried to update your dash and screwed some stuff up. I would try hotswapping and putting in your backup which i know you have, or maybe installing a modchip if you get no success through a hotswap.

Hey yeh i didnt do the chip myself sum otha guy did charged me 70 buks to  but neways there is no error msg there is no input the screen is juts black nthing is coming up

hey xexhoxx i tried to play mechwarrior before it syuffed up i got to level four then it froz and i put in fusion frenzy do you think that it cood be that mechwarrior/assult cood of tried to update the 007 save game exploit???

I know this sounds crazy but my buddy had the same problem 4 or 5 times he kept on changing his box over to pal.

So i recomend makeing a boot disk (ican helpwith this) burn it with nero then hit A that should switch it back to NTSC

Before you try this try the video cables you are using some apps do not like the hd cables try using an rf switch or the like it is probably something simple anyway.
try that and PM me if you need more help.

did you chip it or softmod it ... there no chip in a softmod...  if you have a chip it could be a broken trace somwhere on the board or a broken compent or eeprom could be damaged.
first you could figure out if it was a chip or softmod

flashing an box does not caus eit to do this if done properley if it is done and works the first time you boot it back up again then it was done right and unless you tried to re flash it which you say you didnet then the tsop dosent change unless there was a problem there in the first place like dodgy chip
maybe the eprom is corrupted but as a rule if the flash went right the first time it is good for the rest of the xbox's life
as this is the same place MS store there data and the chip is re writable to 100,000 times so the specs say flashing shouldent be a problem.

hey it aint a chip its a soft mod from what rice guy rekons it sounds like either the xbmp or i fuked the eeprom im hoping that it automatically baked up or the guy who soft modded my xbox baked up but i cant access the hardrive at all unless i hotswap and i really dont want to do that..
