I installed a Xecuter2.3aLite in a 1.4 or 1.5ver xbox with focus chip. Screen was black, instert cd, flashed GREAT. But, I am shipping this to my cuz over the border so I then reflashed the bios with the latest Cromwell that has focus support. It worked, I rebooted, saw cromwell screen. So I packed it up and sent it off, even included the same BIOS dvd I used to originally flash it.
My cuz gets it and it boots fine to cromwell screen, he insterts the SAME dvd I sent, it Ejects the media because it didn't like it. So he burns another dvd-, dvd+, cdrw nothing worked. Eventually one seemed to work, the bar went till end and then just stopped , left for 15mins. Rebooted box, FRAGS on boot now. Disable chip it works, so I guess the BIOS is toast....
How can we fix? No programmer. He has access to another modded xbox, a V1.2 with a X2.2Lite. Can we Hotflash the chip?
