but changing the bios requires 2 general things:

1. i decide what bios i want initiate the bios changing
2. my chip be re-flashable (which it is not).

i once tried reflashing my chip via software in evolutionx, but it came back and said that the chip was not reflashable.

No Its Not The Xbe That Shows That Its The Bios, M7 Says MS And 4981 Says XECUTER2

no dude.

That logo that you see is on image in the .xbe that runs when you turn on the xbox. So when using an evox bios, this image appears as it would with a retail bios. The x2 bios  'over writes' the image to display their own proprietary image instead. There is no way to change this image, only remove it by using xbtool.

If you are using an evox bios, you can change the image in your dashes .xbe (and have it actually display) by using logo-x.  If you cant figure out logox, get the logo-x GUI.

so all i have to do is use one of the logo-x programs and put in a custom-made image?  would this just put the image over the "MS" image?

yes, you can inject a .raw image into the .xbe.  As long as you are using an evox bios, it will display fine.

Hi I was just wondering if anyone knew how to remove the Xecuter 2 Logo from the 4981 bios and have the default MS Logo come up. The reason for this is the software Logox allows you to change the logo in the .xbe, but with the Xecuter 2 4981 bios it automatically boot its own without a choice. If you can help and you have the time please do, thanks!

Have a nice day

it's built into the actual bios and the only way to take it out would be to edit the bios.  xbtool does that but i don't think it will take that logo out

the only program that does it is xbtool.  you can go to www.teamexecuter.com and check their forums for a possible solution *shrugs*
