As the memorry in the Xbox will get blanked when the machines is powered down that should make no differance at all.
I have no idea how the block works but with the mod off and using a retail disk there is no way this bios can affect it

x2 4981.06 & 4981.67 are now both in the same place you find all other x2 releases under the unofficial section, possibly soon bumped up to the normal official release section
