A normal flash uses both banks so you need to put 2 boiss in 1 1024K file.  I read the tut here some time ago.  Looks like you want 3 bioss in.  that might be a problem

Yeah, like joemack said, you can only hold 2 bioses on the xecuter 2.3.  Is there any reason u want to keep cromwell in one of the banks?  If you screw up trying to update to 4980, u can always use ur other bank to fix it.

I have a 2.2 pro so im not sure if this aplies to you but when i flash a new bios onto my chipi boot up with the current working bios and select a different bank using the dip switches then just flash it.  I've never made a 1mb bios and flashed it.  And again feel free to correct me but my 2.2 can have 4 256k bios on it cant the 2.3pro?

I thought the 2.3pro could have 4 bioses.  maybe I'm wrong.

So, when you flash just one bank you boot off of, say, bank 1, switch your dip switches to another bank, then do a software flash with something like evoX?

Can somebody clarify this a bit, 'cuz I thought it was possible to have many bioses and possibly flash one bank at a time, but the tutorial pinned in this forum doesn't mention stuff like that.

Sorry if these are noobish questions.  just wanna make sure I know what I'm doing before I dive in.
