SEX

Now that i have some one's attention how do i get 4980.06 to boot from .06, other wise known as the F drive.

No mention of that in the .NFO FILE THAT YOU OPEN WITH NOTE PAD THAT COMES WITH THE FILE!

Thanks in advance for any attention to my question.

Edit..

I read around and it looks like i got to wait for an update to xbtool.  Its cool i'm patient.

X2 4980.06 = Big F when HD upgraded (6 = Partition6= F)

x2 4980.67 = F with 137GB , G takes the rest (7 = Partition7 = G)

so that means...                   if i install 4980.06.. then if i buy a 300 gig hard drive... all 250+ gig will be in F drive??.... or will it limit it to 137GB, then i need partion 7, G,... to take the rest of the space

*EDIT.... oh THANK you greatly for this information.. i thought i read the nfo file with the bios's... but couldnt find it... so thank you... !!!!.. cheers

Huh??
You don't need to edit 4980 in XBTool for it to work - if you turn off the chip, your MS dash will load as normal (if you have your EVOXDASH.XBE and XBOXDASH.XBE on C:), allowing you to connect to Live.

i'm starting to think someone has created a bot that does nothing but ask the same question over and over in this thread...

if after all this someone still doesn't know which bios they want,  it's a good bet that .06 is the one they should get.  if you find yourself missing a drive or some files after that, try .067.  flashing your bios DOES NOT format your hard-drive so just try one...there won't be any permanent damage.

depends on your hdd. if you have a large hdd (over 137 GB) with a f and a g partition you will use 4981.67 otherwise use 4981.06
