I was reading up on this: What The Hack Does:

It fakes out the Xbox Live login process into thinking there is no network cable by patching memory on the fly.
It does not affect syslink, xbconnect or xlink at all
It affects only XBL services.
It DOES NOT allow you to play copies on Xbox Live.

Just wondering, the last line says It DOES NOT allow you to play copies on Xbox Live.

Does this mean you cannot play backup xbox live enabled games at all? Like just for the single player part of it?

You're gonna have to wait for a new xbtool to come out.  Otherwise I think you could maybe hex edit it if u really dont want to wait.  I'm not too sure about that though, I can't really use a hex editor that well

so far everyone has had success with it with a lot of games, the only problem with it so far is that you cant use it in XBTool yet, but thats not a big deal as im sure a new XBTool will be released soon.

To clarify in case you still don't understand, you can play the games themselves, just not online over xbox live.

So nothing changed really in that case. Just now you won't accidentally get yourself banned.

It does NOT affect XBConnect, Xlink, or any other tunneling app.

It simply makes your xbox think that it can't connect to Xbox Live, which you wouldn't want to do with a modchip on anyway, since it would just get you banned.

In other words: You have nothing to worry about at all.
