That is a nice feature. People have been talking about spoofing the live connection for a while now, glad to see someone actually did it! Sweet  tongue.gif

is anyone else having that problem? that sucks, i havent been able to test it out myself just yet but ill do it soon, hopefully it turns out ok.

I wouldnt worry too much about it though. This hack stops any communication with you at least getting a warning. Just disable your auto sign in.

Do we really have to go over this with every bios release?  Either wait for a new xbtool to come out, or learn to use a hex editor.

I can hex edit it but this bios is not earth shattering enough for me to not wait for xbtool.... Maybe I'm lazy ?? Nahhh. LOL But I practice safe XBLIVE!ing. Always use protection.

Exactly who has XBL issues? I have never had my modded xbox try to connect to live. Is this only an issue if you play a LIVE game and accidently hit "play online"?

I was worried about xboxes patching themselves when you power them on, but still havent noticed my mod connecting to XBL services when sitting idle on my network.

Thanks for any input on this.

Some games like Project gotham Racing 2 and Rainbow Six 3 automatically connect to Live (if you have a Live account, that is) when you start the game. So you get banned.

Now they both just say "There was an error connecting to Xbox live"

meh no biggy

for now just use c:, im' sure a new Xbtool will be released tomorrow or in a couple days.
