or maybe its because my xbox is PAL?

Loop is fixed in UDE but sounds like your hack got corrupted.

If your hack is corrupted it can get in a "clock halt" so to speak. It doesn't loop but because of the clock the box always halts at an error.

Just use a program like XBOXHDM to hotswap the hard drive and reinstall the MS Dashboard.

Yeah, because unplugging it has no effect.

The way your systems been changed, unplugging a PAL Xbox for 2 hours would make it magically NTSC, lol, and that'll never happen.

To prove that I did the unlocking and C drive installed correctly and the hdd is not dead, I locked that same hdd (after unlocking using my eeprom obvioulsy) using my friend's eeprom, shoved it into his xbox and MS dash boots fine.

Can also tell us what the xbox led is doing?

If it's straight there is either a blank eeprom or something very wrong,

If it is the eeprom you need a modchip no matter what and fix the problem,

samething happened to me when using avalaunch,

all I did was got a mod that didn't need the eeprom to bootup the xbox.

rebuilded the eeprom and removed the mod put the harddrive back in now it works great except the dvd drive.

And next time - just to let you know. Leaving your Xbox off must've been some fluke.

And for god sakes how the fuck is reformatting the HD, reinstalling the MS Dashboard and such gonna fix the EEPROM? The EEPROM is a microchip in the Xbox!
