Ok, this is extremely odd.
I just booted the Xbox on bank2 and this time, the BIOS chip was detected as the AMD again.  I reflashed with a 512k 4979.06 BIOS and it worked, now both banks appear to be the same BIOS.  What is going on here?  I am totally confused as to why this happened in the first place.

Another question to ask is, how can I reflash the entire BIOS (both banks) with the same flash in one shot.  Do I just size the BIOS I want to use (x2 4979.06) to 1MB select Bank2 and flash?

Sorry for all the questions, but I am new at this, and to me, it doesn't make sense how the BIOS changed to the TSOP in the first place?

Is my TSOP still 'original', ie can I still get on XBL when the mod is switched off?
