well u won't be able to have any debug features on your 256k flash. But once you get your 1 meg chip you'll be able to put the 512 meg bioses on there. You were asking what bioses would work... well if you didn't have the focus video encoder chip then tatx dual debug would work. You mentioned something about them patching this bios to work with your hardware. I had a better Idea.
Why not just edit an original debug with all the hacks to work on all versions? This would be the baddest bios out as you could debug, take screeny's, and do anything a hacked retail bios can do. Also, it should work on debug boxes, 1.0, and 1.1-3, and all with focus chip. This would kill about 45 birds with one stone.
