X2.2 Lite [+] Flashing Prob?
« on: November 15, 2003, 05:23:00 AM »

Hey all, i'm just hoping to get an answer as to what I did wrong when flashing.  I read the guide how to flash at system mods, so I followed the directions to a pin point precision.  I had created an aaa.zip (50 megs), made a 1024 kbs bios.bin out of the Evox M7 bios, and a zzz.zip(50 megs), and burned it all to a disc.  I turned on my xbox, and saw the cromwell loader, and put my disc into the drive.  I watched the flashing guages go as the chip flashed itself, but not my xbox refuses to boot from the modchip.  when enabled, it boots like any normal xbox would.  and when i put my bios disk back into the xbox it gives me the normal xbox warning (this is not an xbox format disc).  Why don't I see the Evox screen after I flashed it?  I don'y recieve these red/green led erros that I hear so much about, yet my xbox refuses to even boot my modded bios.

avrame - had the same prob, but i fixed it by just burning the default.xbe and evox.ini files, along w/ 2 300 meg filler files, into a cdrw and put it in the 'box, turned it off, and back on and evox was there, good as can be. just put the cd/dvd in and it should come up after the big X screen...hope it works
