There is no IGR in the m7 bios, only in the dash.  Yes, the IGR in 3921 does seem more stable than that in the x2 bios.

Actually, it turns out that IGR is inside the actual M7 bios.  I entirely disabled IGR in my evox.ini and it still works when I boot up with my M7 bios.

No, this is incorrect.  M7 has NO BIOS IGR.  You probably disabled it incorrectly in evox.ini.

Also, if I may chime in, there are tenfold more reported problems with Evox's dashboard IGR than Xecuter's BIOS IGR.

I'll be the first to say that IGR didnt work right AT ALL in pre 3921 versions of evox, but I have been using it since before its public release, and have tested it on dozens of games, with none of the "my game wont start when IGR is on" problems.  Im not saying that it is implemented perfectly, and that it properly executes in every game as it was designed, just that it doesnt have to the same problems as before.

And yes, once again daMaster, there is no IGR code in any evox bios, and never has been.  Not in m7, not in d.6, not in any.

Xeero, here is the entire content of my evox.ini, which I just FTP'd off my XBOX.  Please tell me where and how IGR is enabled inside this INI file:

I'm not an idiot.  If you can point out from that file that I have disabled IGR the wrong way then I will label myself an idiot.

I'm using EvoX M7 with the evox.ini above and IGR still works - my intuition tells me that IGR is indeed inside the bios itself!

I dunno what to tell you.  Perhaps you're not really using M7.  Your hash doesn't match the M7 hashes for EF and non-EF.

I like the IGR from the Xecuter 4977 except that it's too hard to use with a controller S.  I had my Evox IGR setup to be Left trigger, Right trigger, Start, White but had to disable it because of Crimson Skies locking up all the time.  The Xecuter one works fine but is kind of a pain in the ass.

I was wondering if there's a way to change the BIOS igr?  What's the most stable BIOS that won't boot from DVD first?  I'd like it to boot to Evox no matter what when the chip is on.

How is Xecuter's Left trigger, Right Trigger, Back, Black so much harder to use on a controller-S than your setup of Left, Right, Start, White? It doesn't seem like that much of a "pain in the ass."

dry.gif ).

As for the Xbox, if you think that's cool, check out what some people with way more time on their hands than I have done in the case/hardware modding forums.  With mine, it's not paint-just a cheap silver skin.  It's a lot like an auto decal.  Pain in the ass to stick it on though.  I wouldn't do it again, that's for sure.  I got the jewel blue and sparkly by taking it off and dremelling the bottom clean with a little wire brush.  That made a bunch of tiny cracks that look awesome when painted over.

Before you do anything irreversible to your Xbox you should check out the case modding forums.  There's a lot of horror stories there.  Like many types of paint (including chrome unfortunately) don't work very well.  And it's really easy to ruin the jewel on top when you mess with it.  The part I like most about my Xbox is how the LEDs change colors on the eject button and how I moved the X2.2 switches inside the faceplate.  That old switch thingy was really ugly.  And the blue light that it came with--WAY too bright.

ok, really, if IGR was indeed in the bios....why would evox not advertise it as a feature?  And why would it work for *you* and no one else.  I'm not trying to be cynical, but just look at in this light and understand that something might not be as you are thinking.
