Hello,
Just today, I installed my Executer Lite 2.2 plus (solderless) modchip and it asked me to put in the BIOS update CD.

So after a lot of trying, I finally managed to flash it to CROMWELL 2.24a.

Then later, I used OZXflash and flashed it to X-Ecuter 4977 BIOS ... but like an idiot   flashed the 256 K bios without converting it to 1 meg.

Now, the Xbox DVD Eject switch flickers GreenRED and gives no display when I try to boot in using the modchip.

It, however works fine when the chip is off ( Switch Off )

What can I do ?

I came across this artcile at : xbox-scene (256K to 1 MB Bios Flash recovery guide), but then it is for Xbox 1.0 1.1
I have Xbox 1.3

I am not very great with soldering, but am ready to try out this method is its the only way out.
Will it work for Xbox 1.3 also ?

Please help. Greatly in need of any help or ideas on getting over this.

just buy the external programmer...
it's a great investment, because you might need it later too
