EvoXD6_MP.bin is a good idea to replace the x2 bios?

any people already test this bios???

they are no where near equal - here's the other features of X2 that maake it different

boot with no dvd rom connected
boot with no vga connection
built in "true" IGR
embedded XBE (currently FTP)
embedded boot logo for easy detection
4 choices of xbe boot order
customized error screen shots

plus lots more to come in 4979

hope this clears some questions up on the differences

using : Xbox v1.0 , Matrix (MODE 3), Latest Evolution Dashboard, D6 bios updated to :

EvoXD6_MP.bin

pos :
- IGR works with newer games and xboxdash 2.0
- Mediapatch works (tested with SC2)

neg :
- MODE 3 reset swap mode for modchip off doesn't work anymore

I guess they patched the D6 eject fix bios to EvoXD6_MP ?

Has anyone gotten this new media patched bios to do anything else? I tried to edit it with XBTool... but no luck. I need a bios that boots to F and a color mod is always nice too. If anyone got these hings to work for the new bios (with media patch) with XBTool... i'd like to know how.

They were working with the nexgen team on a few things (like ftpd)
