Cant Flash A Cheapmod

Well, I think I have a huge problem : i've installed a cheapmod with the SST49LF020 chip on my xbox. Cromwell bios ver 1.8 is pre-installed.

All I want, is to flash the modchip with a x2 bios. But, when I insert the ozxflash cd into the dvd driver (samsung) the system asks for a linuxboot.cfg file. It doesnt find it, and it halts. Here's the message :

"Searching for linuxboot.cfg... Unable to find it, halting"

I've tried too with eurasia, it doesnt works. There's no problem with CDs, I've already tested them before (with music). And I've burned them correctly.


And now I wonder what do I have to do, my xbox does nothing, even play original games ! When I insert a original game in the driver, I've got the same message.


Please help me I cant no more !!!

The ozxflash CD you put in wasn't the bios.bin CD, right?

No it was not the bios.bin...

But I've tried too to put the bios bin cd, I've got always the same message   :blink:
