X-ecutor 2.2 Lite Bios Banks
« on: August 07, 2003, 08:50:00 PM »

I'm still a n00b at this stuff but I was wondering, I realized that on the X-ecutor 2.2 lite there is a switch to change between "banks".  Are these banks what hold the bios?  If so, could you have 2 differen't bioses to switch between?  If so, how would you flash the empty bank?  Wouldn't you need to boot the xbox up with your existing bios to use the evox cd to flash the other bank?  Would it be safe to switch inbetween banks while the xbox is on, right before you flash?  Sorry for all my questions but I'm a newb.

I just now checked and realized that you can have multiple bioses.  I still don't know what it means when it says that the X-ecutor 2.2 lite has 1x 1024 and 2x 512.  Does this mean the first bank bios has to be 1024 and the second is 512?

not for the x2 lite
you can use flashx to flash only one bank with a 512 kb bios.if you want to flash from evox you need to combine 2 bios's to one 1 mb bios.

ex: d.6 + d.6 + 4977 + 4977
