Problems With Xb Tool

I have an untouched 4976.02 bios that works perfect on its own, but all the bios' that I make with Xbtool from it do not work. I really want my customized bios to work. I do not know if I need this whole"RC4 Key" thing. You know out of all the stuff I know this is really frustrating, because I think XBtool is about the only thing I never have undertood completely. Someone please help, do I need an RC4 key and if I do how do I use it, it does not state how this is done in the documentation.

I have had problems making bioses too. What you have to understand is, sometimes they don't work if you make the colors very different from one another. You can't get too crazy with it. Also that one thing always has to be black I think.

Nothing always has to be black (if it did then it wouldn't make much sense to make it modifiable) and the colors you use shouldn't matter though I'll look into the possibility if you can send me a bios which fails due to the wrong colors being used.
