xecuter 4977 autopatches games and is quite new although it doesn't get passed the clock check from a messed up hd it also has igr which owns so i would use the 4977.

EvoX's BIOS have not been updated in nearly a year.  By now, it has NO advantages over Xecuter2 4977.  Unless there are LogoX-philes still hanging around, everyone has now moved on to X2 BIOSes...

Actually, the clock check is inherent to the dashboard.  It has nothing to do with the BIOS.

It's when xboxdash.xbe returns an invalid time and you're forced to enter the time before doing anything else.

You're doing the right thing, since X2 4977 is definately best. Just like Xeero said, those EvoX BIOSes are not updated in about a year. Man....

I use D6, because I'm told 4977 turns off the eject reset, which is dumb to me, as I don't want to hard-off my box everytime I want to change the game.

What would be good is if the bios changed the eject fucntionality to a reset if one were to double-press it.

Then again, those who complained about having to shut it off and turn it on for a reset when the system came out have apparently been silenced by their inepitude regarding xbe patching.
