does the 4967 bios have the feature were u dont have to patch backed up games

Yes.  You can also use HDDLoader 1.2a to copy games to your hd because it also patches games that need it.  By the way, it's 4976 bios.  Use 4976.02 or 4977 to make sure you get the latest features.
